2009 Scholar-Athletes: Charles Valadie and Andrew Chinn

Christian Brothers’ recipient is senior linebacker/tight end Charles Taylor Valadie. The son of Penne O’Brien, Taylor has a 4.338 grade-point average and is a three-year letterman in football and lacrosse.

Memphis U.’s recipient is senior Andrew Jordan Chinn, son of Dr. Harry and Nancy Chinn. Andrew carries a 5.88 GPA and is a linebacker for the Owls.

Both of these student-athletes plan to study pre-med.
