2009 Scholar-Athletes: Joshua Lee and Duane Graham

Joshua N. Lee is a two-year varsity football letterman for Baltimore City, and this season he has started at running back as well as safety. Josh has a 85.3 GPA and has maintained an excellent academic record in a very difficult curriculum. He is also a member of the Baltimore City College Anti-Defamation League. Joining him were his parents, Melvin and Tonya, and Air Force Master Sergeant Christopher Clar. Colonel John Feather presented the award.

Duane Graham is a linebacker, fullback, and four-year football letterman for the Poly Engineers. In spite of an early season injury preventing him from playing, Duane has remained a positive role model by serving as an active member in his church youth ministry and a leader in his community. He carries a 3.4 GPA and plans to study civil engineering in college. His parents are Duane Graham and Amanda Simpkins. Air Force Staff Sergeant Rose Marie Ching and Colonel John Feather presented his award.
